Game creator Rudolf Kremers has uploaded the trailer for Eufloria, headed to iPad in February. The trailer for the Independent Games Festival Grand Prize and Innovation Awards finalist is set to "Winter" by Antonio Vivaldi, whereas the actual game features an original score by Milieu, with the soundtrack available through Bandcamp.

Lifeformed releases Dustforce soundtrack
Musician Terence Lee, also known as Lifeformed, has released "Fastfall." Featuring music from Dustforce, the independently financed game received an honorable mention in the category of visual art at this year's Independent Games Festival. Fifteen tracks are available to stream in full through Bandcamp, with an additional three unlocked upon purchasing the album in your file format of choice.

PixelJunk Eden debuts on Steam next week
Q-Games' independently developed title PixelJunk Eden will debut on Steam next week. The game will contain the full Encore expansion pack that came separately in the PlayStation Network release. The full soundtrack by Kyoto DJ and graphic artist Baiyon will also be available for purchase as downloadable content, together with the previously unreleased Encore music tracks.

Rom Cassette Disc In NATSUME vol1 album announced
Record label Clarice Disc has announced Rom Cassette Disc In NATSUME vol1, a compilation of music from Nintendo Famicom, Game Boy and Super Famicom games developed by Natsume. The two-disc album, due out February 25 in Japan, will include music tracks from Chaos World, Dragon Fighter, S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team, Shatterhand, Amazing Penguin and Wild Guns. Music is by Iku Mizutani, Hiroyuki Iwatsuki, Kouichi Yamanishi and other artists.

Gravity Rush live action apple trailer
Sony Computer Entertainment has sent out a promotional package to members of the press today including an apple and a new trailer for PlayStation Vita title Gravity Rush. The live action movie dramatizes the way the direction of gravity can be shifted in the game, depicting baskets of apples floating and falling through the air. Music for the handheld title is by Kouhei Tanaka of Resonance of Fate.

NES cover art Mega Man joins Street Fighter X Tekken roster on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
Capcom has announced four exclusive playable characters for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita releases of Street Fighter X Tekken. They include the NES cover art rendering of Mega Man, with potbelly and handgun intact, together with Cole MacGrath of Infamous, Sony mascots Toro and Kuro, as well as Namco legend Pac-Man. Music for the game is by Marvel vs Capcom 3 composer Hideyuki Fukasawa.

Gravity Rush soundtrack due out March 21 in Japan
Record label Team Entertainment has announced the company will publish a two-disc soundtrack album for Gravity Rush on March 21 in Japan. Music for the PlayStation Vita gravity-defying game, developed by Sony Computer Entertainment, is by Kouhei Tanaka, whose previous credits include Resonance of Fate and Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love. 47 music tracks in total are planned for the album.

Piano Collections NieR Gestalt & NieR Replicant dated
Square Enix has announced a release date for Piano Collections NieR Gestalt & NieR Replicant via the album's official webpage. Produced by sound studio MONACA, the single-disc collection will arrive March 21 in Japan, and will feature compositions by Keiichi Okabe from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title arranged by Keigo Hayashi, Kumi Tanioka, Masato Kouda, Ryuichi Takada and Yuri Misumi.

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance soundtrack announced
Square Enix has announced that the soundtrack album for Nintendo 3DS title Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance will drop April 18, 2012 in Japan. The first sample track from the three-disc album is currently streaming on the official webpage, which states that composing duties are being shared between series musician Yoko Shimomura and in-house composers Takeharu Ishimoto and Tsuyoshi Sekito.

Floex Selfportrait 2011
Earlier today, Tomas Dvorak (Floex) uploaded an abstract three-minute music video described as a self-portrait. The musician is responsible for the award-winning game soundtracks to Amanita Design's point-and-click adventure titles Samorost 2 and Machinarium. Last year his original album Zorya debuted, and the artist announced that he would be writing the music score for Samorost 3, which is currently in the works.

Indie Game: The Movie optioned by HBO as fictional TV series
HBO has optioned the rights to turn Indie Game: The Movie into a half-hour fictional television series. Filmmakers Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky have issued a statement via their Facebook page to troubled game enthusiasts, stating, "It is NOT a comedy. It is NOT a sitcom." Their twitter feed indicates Scott Rudin, whose credits include the Coen brothers' adaptation of No Country for Old Men, will produce.

Overkill Software has posted five samples from Payday: The Soundtrack, composed by Simon Viklund of the Bionic Commando Rearmed series. The soundtrack to the multiplayer online bank robbery game will contain music from the initial Payday: The Heist release for PlayStation Network and PC, as well as forthcoming downloadable expansions. The album's debut is described as "just around the corner."

Super Mario Bros. Crossover receives SNES / Game Boy treatment
Exploding Rabbit is planning an update for Super Mario Bros. Crossover that will allow the old school platforming mashup to be displayed in Super Nintendo and Game Boy graphics. Music from both console eras will be available for each of the playable characters, which will now include a high-jumping Luigi and Bass from Mega Man 7. The update is planned for release during the first quarter of 2012.
