G4 reviews ComputeHer's chiptune album Modemoiselle
G4 has published a review of the chiptune album Modemoiselle by Los Angeles based artist ComputeHer, half of the 8 Bit Weapon music group. The album is self-described as "an aural world of pure lo-fi sensuality and mischief.” Samples from "Sysop," "Naughty Bits" and "Dark Pub" can be heard on the website.

Shank soundtrack now available to download
Klei Entertainment has followed through on their promise to release the entire game soundtrack for Shank once their Facebook page reached a predetermined number of fans. The 2D sidescrolling adventure game is due out shortly on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. Music is by Vince de Vera and Jason Garner.

Scott Pilgrim game soundtrack now on Amazon and iTunes
The digital soundtrack to Anamanaguchi's Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game score is now available for download on Amazon and iTunes. Sense of Wonder Night presenters announced
Presenters for the Sense of Wonder Night 2010 event at TGS have been revealed, with all nine participants required to present and demonstrate their games to attending visitors this coming September 17th, 2010. Participants include MusicMineSweeper (Game Developers Community in Sapporo, Japan) and Orfeo: a Game in Music (Roberto Dillon, Singapore).

Free Warlock Bentspine soundtrack released
Composed by Phlogiston, the soundtrack to Lazrool's freeware 2D platformer Warlock Bentspine is now available as an 11-track free download from Pause Music. As a commemorative gesture, Francis Coulombe (FrankieSmileShow) had posted a timelapse video of the soundtrack cover being drawn from start to finish.

James Bond 007: Blood Stone - Istanbul trailer
Activision has posted a new trailer for James Bond 007: Blood Stone, which offers some insights into the game's storyline. The multi-platform action game will feature sequences set in Turkey when it arrives on PC, PS3, 360, and DS later this year. Original music for the title is being composed by Richard Jacques.

Korean-exclusive Rockman Online teaser trailer
A teaser trailer has appeared for Korean-exclusive Rockman Online, not to be confused with the similarly cross-over heavy Mega Man Universe. The animated promo features Mega Man, Roll, Dr. Wily, the original six Robot Masters and Dr. Light, and is set to a dance music arrangement of the Drill Man theme from Mega Man 4.

Newgrounds game promotes Newgrounds documentary
Game designers Sean McKenzie and Ajay Karat have created “Indie Jones,” a mini-game found on the Newgrounds Flash site to promote the Newgrounds documentary "Everything, by Everyone." The documentary has already achieved its fundraising goal and has seven days of its pledge drive left to go.

Bytejacker has posted the launch video for iPad game PongVaders, out today on the Apple Store for $3 from Koduco Games, an independent studio focusing on new collaborative games. Classic Dungeon being localized as ClaDun
NISA will be localizing their old school action role-playing title Classic Dungeon under the name ClaDun: This is an RPG. The official website is streaming music from the game, along with chip music arrangements, both by the Tokyo-based sound design team Zizz Studio. The game is due out September 7 on the PSP.

DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue coming this September
Though Ron Gilbert may have left Hothead, the game designer was involved in the making of the DeathSpank series sequel planned for later this year. The download will be published for XBLA and PSN by Electronic Arts on September 21 and 22, respectively. Music for DeathSpank is by Penny Arcade Adventures' Jeff Tymoschuk.

Nobuooo's Comic Market 78 photo set
Nobuooo website staff attended all three days of the 78th Comic Market festival in Japan. Photographs from the Tokyo Big Sight convention center, attended by hundreds of thousands of hobbyists over the weekend, can now be found on flickr. A review of doujin arrange albums with translated comments from participants is currently in the works and should be online by the end of the month.
