Despite the whole language barrier thing, according to Alexa.com roughly 40% of the readership of this site is based in Japan. Any thoughts on this surprising development?

Interesting site that one! Nice to see my site is running high in the charts at 3,100,000 ish lol. But then I suppose VGM is biggest in Japan so this is their news site :-)

You'd probably get more accurate statistics from the server logs, since Alexa.com gathers its data from people who install their toolbar.

I'll see if Zooov has more data from the server logs.
