Vocalist and Songwriter Eri Kawai Dies at 43
Eri Kawai, who worked with Yasunori Mitsuda for several years, especially on his solo album Kirite and, more recently, on the RPG DS Soma Bringer, died on August 4 in Tokyo. She also took part in many anime series, such as Romeo x Juliet with Hitoshi Sakimoto. May she rest in peace.

In addition to the projects mentioned by Zanasea, she sang renditions of "Amazing Grace" and "Silent Night, Holy Night" in the scores for Yakuza and the upcoming Yakuza 2, respectively.
