Questionnaire for Yasunori Mitsuda

That was a fantastic read! Mitsuda was actually by first (videogame music) love, so it's great to catch up on his work and views. I wasn't aware he was creating music for anime/two Wii games/Chrono Cross arrange. In fact, I didn't even know he had a hand in the Korg DS-10! O_O;;;

Exciting stuff to look forward to, thanks for this!

Interesting interview, It was pretty cool and got me curious what 2 Wii games he is doing music for as well as raise my expectancy on that Chrono Cross arranged Album.

One of those Wii titles would be Arc Rise Fantasia

That's right, I remember reading about that some time ago. I was planning on picking that game up when it crosses over. Looks... interesting. I've played the DS Arc games, so I'll probably like this one as well.

The DS Arc games? As far as I know, this is an original franchise. Anyway, Mitsuda is only contributing a few pieces to this game, unfortunately.

I know that Arc Rise Fantasia is brought to you by the same people who brought you Luminous Arc games for the DS, which coincidently has their music composed by Mitsuda as well. I'm pretty sure there is going to be some references to the DS Arcs unless they are scrapping any ideas from the DS ones and starting fresh for the Wii.

Speaking of which, did they decide who will be taking lead on the music production if Yasunori isn't doing the whole project?

Oh God, I didn't even realise they share the "Arc" in their titles. My mistake.

As far as the other composer(s) is/are concerned, nothing has been announced as of yet. Mitsuda is credited as composer, arranger, supervisor and producer for the game on Procyon Studio's website, but it also says he partially contributed to the soundtrack.
