Kernel Suing Timbaland, Nelly Furtado Over Chiptune Sampling
Nearly three years since allegations first appeared accusing famed producer Timbaland of sampling chiptune track "Acidjazzed Evening" for Nelly Furtado's single "Do It" without giving credit or compensation, record label Kernel filed suit against Timbaland and Furtado for copyright infringement.

I hope Suni wins. I saw some quotes by Timbaland (one major one quoted on this article) where he was being a real condescending asshole by justifying his theft as "sampling" and more or less pegging Suni and similar composers as insignificant in the music industry. It's bad enough this douche is not creative enough to come up with his own music, but he has to attack people he steals material from.
